Up Close and Personal: The Smexy Kitten-Heather Ashford

I recall running into this smexy vixen several times be it at the porn parties or other club venues and her attitude has been nothing but fun, bubbly and pleasant. I can honestly say heather has made herself known to photographers, models, directors..etc., and through it all, she's learning what it takes to be the woman she wants to be seen as. I sat down with Heather Ashford for an interview and here is what she had to say.

Alexandria Topaz: What brought you to Second Life?

Heather Ashford:  A friend of mine recommended we meet and play on SL. I tried it, and I was hooked.

Alexandria Topaz:  How Long Have you Been in the "Porn Industry"?

Heather Ashford: Oh, I would say two years really. I did my own photos, some erotic. But when others started asking me to be in projects, it was about two years ago.

Alexandria Topaz:  How did you get started in Porn?

Heather Ashford: A friend of mine invited me to a porn party. A Director/Producer asked me to do a photo shoot. It just kind of took off after that.

Alexandria Topaz: How many film projects have you been a part of, be it as an extra, featured or Starring role? (please list Film/Director/Role. I like to give due credits where appropriate.)

Alexandria Topaz:  What are your favorite pieces of work that you were in (photos/videos, list up to 3, include links if available)?

Heather Ashford: Wow, I really can’t pick one or three from the rest.

Alexandria Topaz: What major hurdle, if any, have you overcome to succeed?

Heather Ashford: I don’t know, It all just kinda went super fast.

Alexandria Topaz: How far would you like to take your Porn Star Career on SL?

Heather Ashford: I am really here to have fun and meet great people. If that means a career, great!

Alexandria Topaz: If you had an opportunity to work with a photographer or producer who would it be?

Heather Ashford: I have worked with a good number of the active producers and only a couple more I would to work with like Alexa Topaz for example! (winks)

Alexandria Topaz: What have you learned being behind the scenes as a model/actress? What has that been like for you?

Heather Ashford: It is a ton of work for the producer / director. I have learned and enjoy really putting myself into their hands and let them make the magic. Being prepared, on time and having the right inventory / wardrobe is important. And listen and pay attention always.

Alexandria Topaz::Some roles can be scarce due to the lack of Directors at this time. What do you do while you wait for the next role?

Heather Ashford: I think movie roles are a bonus. In the mean time I do my own photography, I do photo work for a couple magazines and I blog. I have plenty to keep me busy.

Alexandria Topaz: Are you an active flicker fan? If so please list your link

Heather Ashford: I have a flickr with 6,400 followers and a Facebook with 5,000

Alexandria Topaz: The business in itself can be a bit cut-throat for some folks. How has your experience been in getting to know others in the industry?

Heather Ashford: I have found the whole competitiveness tiring. It frankly ruins your day in SL. So I try keep clear of the drama these days and just enjoy the people.

Alexandria Topaz: Do you feel like you constantly wanna smack the shit out of some of the actors/actresses in the business or do you find you get along with most of them?

Heather Ashford: Most I consider good friends. I learn so much from them. The ones I think I might abuse, I steer clear of them.

Alexandria Topaz: How long were you working before you felt comfortable in front of the camera?

Heather Ashford :I am a natural ham and a high profile person in RL, so this was never a proble.

Alexandria Topaz: Are you stimulated by some of the sex with your co-stars - Be honest. :)

Heather Ashford: Yes, all the time, every time. But, professional never emote on set! (winks)

Alexandria Topaz: If you could fuck one famous person, who would it be? Porn Star or Celebrity

Heather Ashford: Has to be Laura Richards and S????í?a – both together.

Alexandria Topaz: What role would you not take part in if offered ?

Heather Ashford: Nothing that violates the Linden Labs TOS. Everything else id game on!

Alexandria Topaz: Do you have to make pre-sex small talk on set and if so are you comfortable with it?

Heather Ashford: No, I just love having fun and chatting, kidding around. As long as it does not distract the director, producer.

Alexandria Topaz: Have you ever been involved in any super weird niche Porn?

Heather Ashford: Define “super wild niche porn.” Does a midget, lesbian clown count?

Alexandria Topaz: It's been known that like real life.. some Porn Actors/Actresses are stalked by "Sl Fans". Have you experienced any of that?

Heather Ashford: Yes, I get partner proposals out of the blue several times a week. Let’s just say I try to be nice, but my blocked list is way too long.

Alexandria Topaz: In your experience, what advice would you give a new comer looking to enter the scene?

Heather Ashford: I don’t think I am experienced enough to give advice really.

Alexandria Topaz: Any parting words for our readers?

Heather Ashford: Have fun is my mantra. If you are not having fun, you are not doing your second life correctly.
