This Next Model should be known to all by now. How can one not know her? I've been seeing her in action on her flicker page with ideas that are both creative, sassy, spunky and owe so tempting to the male or female eye. Partnered to Daimaju Clowes a creative photographer in his own right, who i've had the pleasure of working with in the past. I sat down with this Hot Vixen and here is what she had to say.

Alexandria Topaz: What brought you to Second Life?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I used to play The Sims Online and made several friends there. One of them discovered Second Life and told the rest of us about it. We all migrated over from TSO and never looked back. Almost 13 years later many of those friends have disappeared, but I'm still going strong.
Alexandria Topaz: How Long Have you Been in the "Porn Industry"?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I'll be coming up on 5 years soon. I don't recall the exact date, but it was around October 2013 when I started.
Alexandria Topaz: How did you get started in Porn?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I began dating an old friend that was in the industry. He told me about it and I thought it sounded like fun so I figured why not give it a try? It was a struggle at first. In fact I started out on my original avatar, Lisa Languish, but eventually decided to focus on Vixxen because I was playing her more often and people were more drawn to the tall, curvy blonde than the short little redhead. Even then I struggled to make a break which was why I decided to start taking my own photos. I sucked, but I had fun with it. I thought my photos were good, but looking back at them I cringe now. I enjoy the journey, though, because I've met so many amazing people along the way, made so many new friends, and have learned new techniques from them that have allowed my photography and art to grow and flourish. I still have a long way to go, but I'm quite proud of the work that I do these days.
Alexandria Topaz: How many film projects have you been a part of, be it as an extra, featured or Starring role? (please list Film/Director/Role. I like to give due credits where appropriate.)
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I was in a film some years ago, but the link is no longer available. It was a small production with just myself and the filmmaker. I had a small part as an extra in Miss Emily's Legs Wide Spread film. I was dating the costar, Zuriel Bedlam, at the time. It was also where I first met and befriended Larry Vinaver. Was a fun time.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: A few months ago I co-starred in one of Mitzy Broadway's films, Casting Couch. It was my first big film and I had a wonderful time. She's an amazing director and filmmaker. I'm also co-starring in her newest film, but I don't yet know the name of it. I'm excited for this one to come out. It's going to be a blast.
Alexandria Topaz: What are your favorite pieces of work that you were in (photos/videos, list up to 3, include links if available)?

Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Gosh, there have been so many that I hate to exclude any amazing photographers by not listing them here, but two of the three that I chose have been done recently so they stand out in my mind. The older one was by my husband, Daimaju Clowes, because not only is he an amazing artist, but I'd be a terrible wife if I didn't list him! What I love most is that everyone has such a different style, yet they're all beautiful in their own right.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: The first is by Daimaju. This was taken during Halloween time right after he'd gotten a new computer and was able to boost his graphics up. He was elated at how clear and sharp the picture came out. It really is a magnificent photo.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: The next was a photo done by my friend Damien Godard. He's such a talented photographer and I'm always honored when he asks me to work with him.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Lastly is a photo done by my friend Chase Stone. He popped in on a photo session Rachel Swallows was doing of her and I together. Chase came up with an idea of doing a threesome shot of us all together, so we finished the pic of Rachel and I then climbed on top of Chase and let the fun begin!

Alexandria Topaz: What major hurdle, if any, have you overcome to succeed?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I've been in this industry for almost 5 years now, but the first few were very difficult for me to fit in. The porn industry can be very cliquey and breaking through those barriers is extraordinarily hard. I couldn't get people to talk to me let alone take my photo. Because of that I started taking my own photos. They were not good, I will admit it, but through persistence and dedication I began making friends in the industry and people started recognizing my name. I'm thrilled now to have my work appreciated and I am grateful for all the amazing friends I've made along the way.
Alexandria Topaz: How far would you like to take your Porn Star Career on SL?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: How far can it go? I would like to say that I'm happy with how far I've come, but that wouldn't be true. I'm always pushing myself to do better, to learn new techniques, to improve upon my photography and editing skills. I'm always trying to meet new people, to get my name out there so that I can model more and be in more films just because it's so much fun for me. I love to see the various styles of the photographers I work with and the different ways they see me through their lens.
Alexandria Topaz: If you had an opportunity to work with a photographer or producer who would it be?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Gosh, there are so many incredible photographers out there I couldn't begin to pick just one. And honestly I would not want to name one, or even a few, and hurt the feelings of someone that I didn't name. Let's just say that I still have a long list of people I would love to work with, both behind and in front of the camera.

Alexandria Topaz: What have you learned being behind the scenes as a model/actress? What has that been like for you?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: It's fun to model because I can just kind of kick back and chill while they do all the work. I like to see what sort of poses they use, backgrounds, props, etcetera. As a photographer I inevitably start moving my view around as if I were going to do the photo. It always tickles me when the photographer then shows me a preview of their version and it's a completely different angle and lighting than what I had chosen. I learn some great new ideas that way.
Alexandria Topaz: Some roles can be scarce due to the lack of Directors at this time. What do you do while you wait for the next role?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I work on my own photos, go to porn events to meet new people and make sure others know I'm still alive and active. Outside of thatI shop, play dress up, and play Greedy. I'm a bit of an addict.

Alexandria Topaz: Are you an active flicker fan? If so please list your link.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I am. I've been on Flickr since October of 2013. I know that my Flickr page can be confusing because I had originally started doing photography on my very first avatar, Lisa Languish. I started playing Vixxen more, so I decided to make her my main character. Still, I didn't want to start a new account and lose the followers that I had acquired so I kept Lisa's Flickr and just changed the name. Vixxen Rainbow does have her own Flickr, but I recently removed the photos and started using it to showcase my friend's clothing line.
Alexandria Topaz: The business in itself can be a bit cut-throat for some folks. How has your experience been in getting to know others in the industry?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Well, I covered this a bit already, but it was extremely hard for me in the beginning. In fact it's just been in the last year that I feel I've really started making any headway in the porn industry, especially within the last few months. It's been an exciting but also frustrating ride, but now I'm throwing my arms in the air and screaming "Wheeee!" while I ride this crazy roller coaster.
Alexandria Topaz: Do you feel like you constantly wanna smack the shit out of some of the actors/actresses in the business or do you find you get along with most of them?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: There is always at least one person in any place or any group you're in that can annoy the shit out of you. I try to just ignore them, but if I can't, well then I mute them. But I do my very best to get along with everyone. I've been told I have a reputation of being snobby or something to that effect (I forget their exact words), but I'm really not. I'm a super nice person that loves to
meet new people and make friends. I want people to feel like they can approach me and talk to me and maybe even befriend me.

Alexandria Topaz: How long were you working before you felt comfortable in front of the camera?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Immediately. I was never afraid or shy to model. These are just pixels. They're not me, they're not my body. And the human body is a beautiful thing that should be appreciated.
Alexandria Topaz: Are you stimulated by some of the sex with your co-stars - Be honest. :)
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Yes, of course. If we didn't enjoy seeing erotica we'd not be in the porn industry. I suppose it depends on who I'm with whether it affects me or not. Just like anyone else, I have specific tastes in what I find attractive, so not everyone turns me on. I also tend to avoid any RP during a shoot because I like to be professional. Now if we hit it off, what happens at another time might be a different situation.
Alexandria Topaz: If you could fuck one famous person, who would it be? Porn Star or Celebrity
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Jason Mamoa. That man is beyond beautiful and he's incredibly funny and talented. I've got a school girl crush on him.
Alexandria Topaz: What role would you not take part in if offered ?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: I won't do anything that involves the commonly listed restrictions: no scat, pee, gore, dismemberment, or violent death. Other than that there is nothing I can think of that I wouldn't do in a photo or video. It may not be something I would chose to do in my personal life, but to my knowledge there's nothing else that I'm opposed to.
Alexandria Topaz: Do you have to make pre-sex small talk on set and if so are you comfortable with it?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: It's not necessary but I'm certainly able to it if it is required. I love to role play, especially sex, so yes I'm comfortable with it. I tend to avoid role playing on sets, though, because I'm there to make a photo or film, not get my rocks off.

Alexandria Topaz: Have you ever been involved in any super weird niche Porn?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: When I was with my ex, Zuriel, we used to role play a TON and we liked to get into some pretty exotic and crazy scenes. My favorite was the one where I got lost in the woods and ran into him and his brother (alt). They were backwoods rednecks that captured me and raped me and when I managed to escape they turns into werewolves, caught me and raped me again. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but the small audience that gets off on that sort of thing absolutely loved it when I shared the story and photos on my old blog.
Alexandria Topaz: It's been known that like real life, some Porn Actors/Actresses are stalked by "SL Fans". Have you experienced any of that?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: If I've ever had a stalker they've been really good because I've never known about it. I guess I should consider myself lucky because I understand stalkers can be a royal pain in the ass and I don't need drama. I hate it and avoid it like the plague.
Alexandria Topaz: In your experience, what advice would you give a new comer looking to enter the scene?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: First, be patient. It takes time for people to learn that you're in the industry, to learn your name, and to get to know you. Becoming a porn star doesn't happen over night. It doesn't happen in a week. It won't even happen in a month. I took me years to get anywhere in SL porn. But when the time is right it will happen. Be open minded and take the advice of those of us that have been in the business for a long time. Learn from our mistakes.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Second, have an updated look. Mesh is preferred and doesn't have to cost a lot. There's a lot of places that offer free or inexpensive mesh to get you started.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Third, talk in the group chat and go to parties and events. Get to know people. Make friends. Get your name out there so that you'll be recognized and remembered when people are looking for models.
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Lastly, have fun with the journey! This is about having a good time, meeting people, and getting freaky. It shouldn't be stressful and it shouldn't make you mad. If it does, this may not be the hobby for you.

Alexandria Topaz: Any parting words for our readers?
Vixxen Rainbow-Clowes: Thank you to everyone that has helped me, encouraged me, inspired me, or taught me how to be a better photographer over the last four and a half years, most importantly my husband, Daimaju Clowes. He has been my biggest fan and supporter over the years. I wouldn't be where I am without his support. And if anyone, new or otherwise, ever comes to me for help or advice I will gladly do what I can to support them, as well.
