This next model has been around the scene getting to know others in the Adult Industry. Cody has played in several roles with well known directors and is currently taking part in my school series. We currently came down to chatting with one another as we drifted off a bit but it's a pleasure having him back. During that time Cody has been honing his photography skills and is doing quite well at it. I had a sit down with Cody and here's what he had to say.
Alexandria Topaz: What brought you to Second Life?
Cody (aethmorot)-Originally, I used Second Life as a benchmark tool to test the limits of my previous PC. I had put new parts in it and knew running Second Life on Ultra and seeing how the frames dropped or didn't drop would be a good indication of how strong my system was. I just ended up sticking around after that out of pure curiosity. I wanted to see how good I could make myself look and explore a bit.
Alexandria Topaz: How Long Have you Been in the "Porn Industry"?
Cody (aethmorot)-Been in SL since January of 2016, and I got started in "porn" and "erotic modeling/photography" about 3-4 months after that. It's been more than 2 years since then, and I'm still going as strong as ever.
Alexandria Topaz: How did you get started in Porn?
Cody (aethmorot)-In all honesty, I don't really remember the turning point of when I decided, "I want everyone to see me have sex with these gorgeous women and see me naked". I just decided one day I wanted to try it. I didn't really have anything else going on, and it sounded a lot more appealing to me than being a Host, which a former friend had tried convincing me to do at the time. I think I made the right choice.
Alexandria Topaz: How many film projects have you been a part of, be it as an extra, featured or Starring role? (please list Film/Director/Role. I like to give due credits where appropriate.)
Cody (aethmorot)-I've been in three actual films. My first ever being titled "Raunch". It's directed by Isa Cheviot from Dogstar Productions. I was just an extra in the last scene but it still counts! (Link: https://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=ph575b72cfc7051)
Cody (aethmorot)-My second role was in a short fill with MissEmily titled "Free Tan", starring her and I. She directed it. (Link: http://missemilysstudio.blogspot.com/2017/05/free-tan_12.html)
Cody (aethmorot)-My third was as a male starring role with Anyka in a film directed by Brea Brianna for the "Introducing Anyka" film for the Hoob's Hotties group/blog:
Alexandria Topaz: What are your favorite pieces of work that you were in (photos/videos, list up to 3, include links if available)?
Cody (aethmorot) Since almost all of my work is done on Flickr, most of the work I'm most fond of is in photos. These are as follows:
Cody (aethmorot) - 1)This is so far my best photo, titled "Morning Mouthful":
Cody (aethmorot) -2) This photo is one of my favorites. It's one of the first sets I did with Anyka, and although it never got fully finished, there are still some pieces on her flickr. It's titled, "Sunkissed" :
Cody (aethmorot)-3)The woman just fascinates me with her work and when I finally got to work with her, I was beyond excited. This is one of my favorite photos of her:
Alexandria Topaz: What major hurdle, if any, have you overcome to succeed?
Cody (aethmorot) -I have a fragile ego and constant desire to be the best and get recognized for it. I want to be the guy people think of when they need a cover for their magazine or their Flickr Group page, or their film/photo. It's still a constant hurdle, but I've seen success, even if I tell myself I haven't.
Alexandria Topaz: How far would you like to take your Porn Star Career on SL?
Cody (aethmorot)-As far is it can go. I'm riding this wave out until I'm either worn out, call it quits, or kicked out!
Alexandria Topaz:If you had an opportunity to work with a photographer or producer who would it be?
Cody (aethmorot)-I've worked with a lot of amazing photographers and producers, and it's hard to pinpoint one person in particular, seeing as I want to work with as many people as I can and be someone people can rely on. If I could choose a group of people, per say, I'd say the Males of the Porn community. I feel like us guys need to network with each other more, be more friendly, and work and support each other more.
Alexandria Topaz: What have you learned being behind the scenes as a model/actress? What has that been like for you?
Cody (aethmorot) -It's a lot more professional than I originally thought it'd be. Like most up and comers, I thought it'd be this wild sex filled environment. I learned quickly that it's actually a very focused, work driven environment, and a very serious one at that. There's no messing around with this stuff. You need to be at full attention the entire time.
Alexandria Topaz: Some roles can be scarce due to the lack of Directors at this time. What do you do while yo:u wait for the next role?
Cody (aethmorot) -I focus solely on my photography. I'm always aiming to improve and excel in my work.
Alexandria Topaz:Are you an active flicker fan? If so please list your link
Cody (aethmorot) -Yes. I'm active on it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/aethmorotsl/
Alexandria Topaz: The business in itself can be a bit cut-throat for some folks. How has your experience been in getting to know others in the industry?
Cody (aethmorot) -I think I've gotten along pretty well with most of the people I've met. While I'm not as well accepted/known as guys like Larry and Damien, I've gotten to the point where people always recognize me and always have something nice to say to me!
Alexandria Topaz: Do you feel like you constantly wanna smack the shit out of some of the actors/actresses in the business or do you find you get along with most of them?
Cody (aethmorot) -I think there is only one person who I would smack the shit out of due to their immense ego and egomaniacal behavior. Other than that, I think I get along with everyone I've met, at least, thats what I believe.
Alexandria Topaz: How long were you working before you felt comfortable in front of the camera?
Cody (aethmorot) - I was nervous at first, not so much about being in the camera, but not being good enough or not meeting the standards of some of the big wig directors. Once I got over that, I was perfectly fine in front of the camera.
Alexandria Topaz: Are you stimulated by some of the sex with your co-stars - Be honest. :)
Cody (aethmorot) -While it's sexy to watch, I need to always be attentive and on my A-game when on the set! Last thing I need to do is piss off a director for not adjusting my cock or a position because I wasn't paying attention to the work and instead the ass bouncing in front of me! :P
Alexandria Topaz: If you could fuck one famous person, who would it be? Porn Star or Celebrity
Cody (aethmorot) Pornstar: Mia Malkova Celebrity: Scarlett Johanson
What role would you not take part in if offered ?
Cody (aethmorot) -I'm not into doing any part that involves anything homosexual or with T-Girls. I'm strictly iCody (aethmorot)nto straight stuff. Nothing against it, just not my line of work. Also, nothing involving body fluids or excrement, and nothing involving children or animals. It's more of "ask me and I'll tell you" sort of thing after that.
Alexandria Topaz: Do you have to make pre-sex small talk on set and if so are you comfortable with it?
Cody (aethmorot) - I'm perfectly comfortable making small talk on any degree before any set. I'm quite the chatter box when on set, seeing as my full attention is in play and I'm waiting to work.
Alexandria Topaz: Have you ever been involved in any super weird niche Porn?
Cody (aethmorot)-No. I've very particular with what I choose to do and choose not to do. I'm pretty vanilla, honestly.
Alexandria Topaz: It's been known that like real life.. some Porn Actors/Actresses are stalked by "Sl Fans". Have you experienced any of that?
Cody (aethmorot) -Never been stalked, but I've had plenty of people who enjoy the work I do either message me on Flickr or on SL to tell me they really enjoy what I do and look forward to seeing more. Sometimes they message me just looking to model for/with me, which is fine. I have no issues working with new people I've never worked with before!
Alexandria Topaz: In your experience, what advice would you give a new comer looking to enter the scene?
Cody (aethmorot) - To new up and comers, I would say this, and it may sound harsh, but don't be ugly. I say that as in, put in a lot of effort into your look. Invest time and funds into making yourself look the best you can. Mesh everything, Aeros cock, basically the full package. No one is going to want to work with you otherwise, and it took a lot of time, trial, and error for me to get it right to the point of people actually noticing me. Also, don't settle. If you think you look good, always see if there is something you can change to improve on that. The better and more attractive you look, the more people will want you to work with them.
Cody (aethmorot)-Damn I sound vain as shit haha
Alexandria Topaz: Any parting words for our readers?
Cody (aethmorot) -Don't give up. Don't think you're not good enough, and don't settle for anything but the best. Second Life is what you make it, and while it's still taking me time to learn this, you should only do your work for you. Don't aim to impress anyone but yourself, and don't aim to improve for anyone's sake but your own. This is your story, let it unfold the way you want it. Don't dictate it by someone else's rules/standards, and always do what makes you happy.
